Alex Beresford has expressed his gratitude for the beautiful location and the presence of friends and family at his wedding to Imogen McKay, which took place at a clifftop temple in Majorca last year.
As the couple celebrated their first anniversary, the 42-year-old Bristol weatherman shared his appreciation on Instagram, recounting how they frequently relive the special day and feel fortunate to have married each other in such a magical setting as the sun set.
Numerous fans congratulated the couple on their one-year milestone, sending warm wishes and blessings. Alex is currently preparing to appear in the first celebrity series of the BBC’s “Race Across the World.
In this unique adventure, he will be paired with his father, Noel, and they will be joined by other well-known figures such as McFly star Harry Judd, All Saints singer Mel Blatt, and racing driver Billy Monger.
Together, they will embark on a challenging journey spanning more than 6,200 miles across 24 countries, from Marrakech in Morocco to Tromso in Norway.
What makes this race truly distinctive is that they won’t have access to air travel or phones, and they’ll need to manage a limited budget equivalent to the cost of flying to their final destination.
While Alex will be accompanied by his dad, the other competitors will team up with their own family members. Mel will be racing with her mother Helene, Harry with his mother Emma, and Billy with his sister Bonny.
Alex shared his excitement about the adventure, noting that it’s a fantastic opportunity to try something entirely new, as neither he nor his father has ever gone backpacking before. Additionally, the race will allow them to explore some incredible places along the way.
